The Players

Digital Accelerant was officially launched in 2016. It is owned by Gabe O'Neill, now affectionately known as "The Godfather of the Video Business Card". Gabe is a person who has enjoyed building software systems most of his adult life. He has now found his calling, which is generating more business for his clients with an unparalleled video business card, and building a community that works together to empower each other.

Gabe is the creative, the tech, and also (currently) the sales staff. That's why they call him "The Godfather". People appreciate the fact that they are dealing with the founder himself and not just some rep who is going through the motions.

Philosophy

One of Gabe's many qualities is that he will follow through on what he says he'll do. He has always stated that his reputation is far more important than the money he earns.

Video Business Cards: The video business cards began as an idea Gabe had to get to know his fellow networkers better. In early 2019, he started giving them away so that people could quickly learn about his work ethics and skill. The result was far greater than he could have ever hoped. The cards were so popular he started to invest more time in them, developing better features, adding texting and video to them, and turning them into warm lead generators. Once the pandemic of 2020 hit, he had to pivot and now has clients from all over the country.

Virtual Video Book™: The video business cards must be seen to be appreciated. After demonstrating them many returned with, "How do I show this to my partner/wife/colleagues?" Sending them a 30 minute video wouldn't work as no one would watch it. Sending them a 2-minute video also wouldn't work as it couldn't include enough information. So out of necessity, Gabe invented the "Virtual Video Book™, which is a presentation of a collection of videos rife with CTA's and polish just like his video business cards. Complex concepts are broken down into digestible "chapters", all of them reinforcing the owner's brand.

Accelerant Chat™: Always keeping up with the latest technologies, Gabe uses AI in everyday use to help his business. He felt it was time to create another offering, also totally custom-built as are the other two products. His first attempt was a boot based on "fuzzy searches", where you basically give the bot a cheat sheet of answers to common questions. Turns out humans don't always ask the questions the same way and may ask others you haven't thought of. The venture was a failure. Instead of throwing it away entirely Gabe decided to take the next step. He learned that by using "embedding vectors" the bot could respond more as you would expect, no matter how the question is framed. Developed with embedding vectors and with strategic prompts, the new Accelerant Chat™ chatbot is trained heavily on the client's business so it won't get tripped up.

Experience

Gabe has more than 35 years of software development experience, mostly focused on computer (PC) and web applications. He has built systems for the likes of Sony, Panasonic, the DEA, and Computer Associates. In addition, Gabe has built two non-profit organizations from the ground up, one of which is still thriving today. He is not happy unless he is building something that is of value to others. He has an unique combination of deep technical skills and creative marketing savvy that make him a valuable asset to all of his clients. He now focuses all of that energy into his one-of-a-kind video business cards. The bottom line is that Gabe gets things done.
